I have most likely mentioned in this in previous posts that from what I have experienced since becoming a fan of Dan + Shay in March, 2014, every time I have seen them in person at their concerts, watched their TV appearances, listened to their studio albums, and viewed other YouTube videos of them singing, they have always given flawless performances. Even when they shoot a clip of them singing on one of their iPhones.
One of the iPhone clips that they shot on their tour bus was of their second number one single “From The Ground Up”. With Dan Smyers playing his acoustic guitar while singing exquisite harmonies to Shay Mooney’s beautiful, crisp lead vocals, this 46 second performance was incredibly wholesome of the duo’s love song, which was inspired by both sets of their grandparents. I cannot get enough of hearing their voices in general, especially in these videos! I hope in the near future when they post these videos, that they perform the whole song, not just a short clip because Dan + Shay always leave me wanting to hear more!
