As I have mentioned in some of my recent posts, Dan + Shay will be announcing a new single, album, and tour very soon. From what I remember happening in the past, they will probably announce their new single and album first. This will get a brand new, fresh song on the radio right now away. The guys have been teasing working on the new music since last May on social media, and teasing announcing it since they came back on social media last October in their ""WE'RE BACK." Instagram video.
I have a really good feeling that the duo will start unleashing some of the news on social media this week and I could not be more excited for it. Stay tuned for my update posts when the announcements are unveiled!
Over the years I have heard a lot of new music the moment it was released, from Taylor Swift to Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts. However, hearing Dan + Shay's new music for the first time for me has always been extra special to me. Being able to hear their growth in songwriting, vocals, harmonies, and production from album to album, and taking the time to notice and appreciate just how much hard work they put into each part of the music making process when listening to each song has been and will continue to be the coolest thing for me as a huge fan of the guys.
Their last album Bigger Houses was released on September 15, 2023, so with the over two year wait for new music, my anticipation and excitement for it is extra high and I cannot wait to dive into a new song or even multiple songs very soon! I will put them on repeat, listen to every detail of the track, and start memorizing the lyrics right away!
