Over the last 10+ years, Dan + Shay have collaborated with several country artists and singers from other genres as well, whether it was on a record or onstage at a concert or award show.
Early on in their career in the summer of 2015, one of the duos dreams came true when they got the chance to sing with country music superstar Keith Urban. Before their respective sets at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 26, 2015, the seasoned artist invited Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney aboard his tour bus to sing an acoustic version of his hit power ballad "Tonight I Wanna Cry". In the video from Dan + Shay's YouTube channel, Urban started to give a passionate performance of the song's first verse with his signature vocals and excellent guitar playing. Smyers and Mooney sat on the couch across from him, listening intently, waiting to join in. Dan + Shay's voices entered the tune at the chorus, backing up Urban's lead vocals with their beautiful harmonies.
Next, the video transitioned to show Urban on the stage at Summerfest performing for the massive crowd. After that, footage of Dan + Shay and their band getting ready to perform is featured. In the last section of the clip, Dan + Shay headed to the stage to join the Australian-born superstar to sing "Tonight I Wanna Cry" during his headlining set at the major Wisconsin summer music festival.
Mooney showed off his impressive vocal range during the chorus of "Tonight I Wanna Cry", followed by Smyers and Urban joining back in to finish the performance. After they sang the last note the crowd was heard cheering, screaming, and applauding for the trio.
I had not watched this clip in a long time. After revisiting it today, I definitely hope there will be a Keith Urban and Dan + Shay collaboration in the future because to me, while their voices are very different, they happen to blend extremely well together.

I have never heard of this collaboration or song before. They do a nice job singing together.
