It is #SnapshotSaturday featuring this beautiful picture of Shay Mooney, his wife Hannah, and their three handsome sons (from left to right) Ames, Aubrey, Abram, and Asher dressed in their Sunday best! The picture was part of Hannah’s Instagram post captioned “Spring things ☘️” on April 7, 2025.
I cannot believe how big the Mooney boys are getting, especially Asher who turned nine in January! I have throughly enjoyed watching each of their handsome sons grow up via pictures and videos on social media!
While Shay Mooney was not a writer on the Dan + Shay song “Bigger Houses”, there is a line that says “I can hear the kids playing in the backyard through the kitchen window right there.” I know he was able to relate to that lyric by the passion he put into it when recording the track.
In addition to that meaningful song mentioning family, the duo debuted a new unreleased song called “Her, The Kids, and Jesus” at their La La Land Kind Cafe pop-up show in Nashville last December! While they have not recorded the song yet, it is all about the importance of family!
I know Dan + Shay will also have some songs that mention family and Mooney’s kids on their upcoming sixth studio album! I cannot wait to listen to each song because I know the lyrics will be very visual and meaningful!
