Dan + Shay have always created fun, happy, light content for their fans to view on social media and this video they posted on October 31, 2024 was no exception.
It featured Dan and his wife, Abby along with Shay, his wife, Hannah, and their three sons at the time, Asher, Ames, and Abram. The clip, which takes place on the staircase at Shay and Hannah's home, is set to Dan + Shay's song "It's Officially Christmas".
It starts with the crew dressed in their Mario Bros costumes for Halloween. Everyone is waving at the camera and smiling. Asher, Shay and Hannah's oldest son, gets up to change the camera and, the next thing you know, they are all magically transformed into their holiday apparel, with the parents in their Christmas sweaters and the kids in their Christmas pajamas! Everyone is waving at the camera again, and clapping and smiling, with Asher going crazy between Abby and Dan, Abram on Hannah's lap, and Ames behind Dan, his arms wrapped around Dan's neck. The amount of joy in this clip is endless!
"HAPPY HALLOWEEN but we are here to declare that IT'S OFFICIALLY CHRISTMAS", Dan + Shay wrote on their Instagram post. They caption went on to read, "The time has come to break out the double album and keep it on repeat (we're serious about this) until the end of the year."
